500ml Can from Lidl, Fermanagh (£1.99):
Quite a dark brown to black with a thin, than surface lacing but it looks a little basic. The nose is slightly dark with subtle roasted notes, a little grain & earthy malts but there wasn't a whole lot to it. The taste is similar with dark malts, an earthy bitterness that's fairly light & some faint chocolate but it's very one dimensional & plain. The body is light medium but a tiny bit thin for the style with fine carbonation; it definitely wasn't anything special though.
