Lightly hazy. Amber colored. Modest starting head which settles to rim bubbles quickly. No lace.

Crazy sweet smell, it was like I put my nose in the middle of cotton candy. Think Jelli-Bellies.

The taste reminds me of the Chinese Peach candy. It's mostly sweet with just a touch of sourness to provide a modicum of balance. It's certainly not like any Berliner Weisse I've had before. I'm not sure what the brewer is going for.

Light fluffy head, rosy orange color, some lacing

Nose tart fruit, sour strawberry, tart rhubarb, creamy doughy wheat

Taste very tart, sweet and sour strawberry and tart rhubarb, plenty of both, little creamy doughy wheat

Mouth is med to lighter bod, little flemmy acidic, plenty of fluffy carb

Overall not bad, enjoyable, nice tartness, tons of fruit, decent base beer, little you fruity and less Berliner for my taste though.

Reddish-purple coloring and a very fizzy head when poured. Traces of sour berries in the smell. Light-bodied, sour taste that was like drinking a soda instead of beer.

Pours a very lightly hazy, vibrant red in color, very much the color of raspberries, with a minimal head that is tinged red. Aroma is extremely muted to the point of being almost nonexistent but I am eventually able to detect some subtle sourness. Taste is much like the aroma, it is very subdued and very lightly sour. I get a bit of raspberry and blackberry behind the sourness but once again I have to search hard to find it. Light-medium body with low-moderate carbonation. Overall I can't say that I find any flaws in this beer but I also can't rally find much in the way of aroma or flavor either. Honestly this is just like drinking a slightly sour and much less carbonated raspberry seltzer.

On-tap 6/26/2016 at Flynn’s in Mansfield, MA, served in a tulip glass.

A: The beer is a dark pinkish purple color, with a short pink head that fades quickly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.

S: The aroma is faint but contains blackberries, wheat and light caramelized malts.

T: The taste starts out with a strong tart blackberry flavor up front that is followed by bready flavors of wheat and a thin malt character. Then some mild sweetness comes in. The hops presence is very mild but complementary and brings a decent balance. The after-taste is slightly tart.

M: Crisp and smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.

O: A little tasty, goes down ok, not too filling, mild kick, good representation of style, it’s a decent beer to drink for a while if you’re in the mood for the blackberry flavor.
