From the 16 oz. can with no date shown. Sampled on September 5, 2018.

The appearance is a cloudy looking light amber tone with a quick erupting fizzy white head that fades as fast as it arrives.

The aroma has some mild elements of coriander but mostly I pick up a citrus zest along the lines of orange or lemon and a sort of odd olive oil presence.

Light mouthfeel.

I found it to be more tart citrus and lemon than spicy and herbal. Although the herbal character plays up big on the quick mildly dry finish.

Canned 6/09
Posts a mid fizzy head that fades quickly but vortex of streaming bubbles up from the etch at the bottom, no head retention at all after that, slight hazy lemon yellow color

Nose is very unique, plenty of citrus, lemon zest, orange peel, coriander and spices, a little tart and acidic, then a gristy doughy malt flashes and disappears, nice flowery chamomile tea as well

Taste that chamomile flowery tea right out of the gate, also like dandelion, into a little tart citrus, big lemon and orange zest, coriander and spices, doughy gristy malt, wheat maybe, drier but mild flemmy acidic finish

Mouth is med to lighter bod, light carb

Overall petty nice, better than I expected for a wit

Look: can't rate at this time, drinking from can, no glassware available.

Smell: a little bready with a touch of yeast. Almost mildew smelling. A touch of spice.

Taste: I was actually really surprised with this one. The flavor is pretty much spot on with what you'd expect in this style. I get coriander right off the bat, with a nice bread/yeast coming right after. clean finish. Almost no booze or hops detectable.

Feel: tight, crisp carbonation, not overly fizzy. Finish isn't really what I would consider dry, certainly not oily either.

Overall: I was seriously impressed with this one, I've had all the big European hitters in this style. And this would stand shoulder to shoulder with most of them. Very true to the genre, I would gladly grab this one again. If you're a fan of witbiers, definitely check it out.
