A pint can (11/28/18) needed an easy pour to reach a finger of creamy and rocky off-white head with average retention and spots of lacing. Hazy translucent orange-straw color.
Tart smell of cranberry with wheat malt and yeast.
Taste begins tart and sour with mild bitterness. Cranberry flavor is upfront but not overpowering. The middle is less sour/tart with citrus fruit and wheat. The finish is quick, semi-dry with the sour cranberry lingering during the aftertaste.
Light bodied, average carbonation smooth at the end despite the sour/tart. Alcohol is hidden. I liked the Strawberry Rhubarb version better as it had some sweetness to balance the sour. This version stands well on its own, very enjoyable.
