On tap at the Duke's Head in Highgate. Pours super hazy, to the point I'm assuming this is a NE IPA attempt (I didn't ask before ordering and the tap handle just says IPA). Small but creamy head leaves a film and plenty of lace. Nose is canned fruit cocktail with a real yeasty profile that does actually remind me of good NE IPA, so this is actually promising so far...although it isn't a huge nose. Just to be clear, I've visited Treehouse a couple times and had lots of other great NE IPAs like Trillium as well, and been super disappointed by some lame UK interpretations, so I'm fairly cautious here. Taste is actually quite good. Again, they have a nice tropical flavor that is also dank, and seem to get that yeasty aspect that most miss. Low bitterness as expected at this point. I'm not going to say this is top-tier, but it is probably the closest I've seen in terms of style that I've had in the UK. Well done.
