Collaboration with Bagby Brewing Co and Crosby Hops
Our first packaged beer of the year is an absolute monster. Between ourselves, Bagby & Crosby Hops we've created a pretty bulletproof trifecta. We've worked on creating the delicate malt bill - balancing biscuit with light crystal sweetness using Extra Pale malt, wheat & a small percentage of Cara Gold. This base works with the 2020 crop Centennial added throughout the boil for bitterness & flavour. 2020 Centennial in the dry hop is the dank cherry on a beautiful cake. Get ready for a huge wallop of pithy marmalade, heady pine & assertive lemon peel bitterness. The body is refreshing & clean with snappy carbonation leading to a slightly sticky, long bitterness to finish with a lingering orange jelly baby aftertaste.

Canned in a big old tallboy crafty craft can and bought on my various travel through Manchester’s indies
Pours a fairly clear lemon jello coloured body with thick tight thick white head
Aroma is hay breaking down and ripe avocado
Flavour is pine then lime with some shortbread & a warming bitterness that nearly cuts it, it’s so close

Pours a clear yellow with soft, soapy head.

Smell is fruity and floral with notes of elderflower, citrus and some perfumey hints.

Taste is fruity, floral and aromatic. Notes of lavender, elderflower, citrus, pine and peach. Solid bitterness.

Mouthfeel is medium, sticky and well carbonated.

Overall, an interesting take on a west coast IPA, maybe a little bit too floral.
