A deep and rich imperial stout layered with blackberry, raspberry & sour cherry on a base of chocolate and caramel malts.
Rich, festive, complex, strong, dark & with the mouthfeel of a black forest gateaux, this Imperial stout is unctuously rich with flavours of Kirsch cherry, dark chocolate & sweet vanilla backed up by a soft body. The initial sweetness of rich chocolate is balanced by tart winter fruit & a slight coffee bitterness. It finishes with sticky, chewy lingering delight.

Sample on tap at Track tasting, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Black colour, moderate tan head. Nice aroma of roast malts, liquorice, dark chocolate and coffee, sour berries, even some vinous hints. The flavour is surprisingly acidic, fruity and slightly vinous, otherwise the same elements as the aroma, decent bittering hops.
