With a smooth base blend of pale and pilsner malt plus a hefty addition of oats alongside silky smooth lactose - this is a beautiful daydream packed with Citra, Nelson and Mosaic Cryo. Velvet waves of peach lap against a shore of pineapple and sweet melon. The vinous, gooseberry notes of Nelson meld with sweet orange from Mosaic and bring a mellow dried mango finish.

Pours a hazy, orange coloration with a large, fluffy head. Smells of light biscuity malt and citrus/tropical/berry notes of orange, mango and gooseberry. Taste is a great balance of light biscuity malt and fruity, juicy, slightly dank hops, with citrus, tropical and berry notes of orange, grapefruit, mango, lychee, gooseberry and blueberry. Finishes with a very light bitterness and some orange, mango and gooseberry lingering in the aftertaste. Soft mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
This is a nice New England IPA, but is a little bit too sweet and boozy fot my personal taste, especially considering it's not even triple strength. While there are some pretty good, vibrant fruit notes to this, with Citra, Mosiac and Nelson all taking their equal share of the flavor profile here, they seem just a tad overripe, which is again something that shouldn't really happen with a Double NEIPA. Overall, this makes for a nice NEIPA with some juicy and expressive hops, but just a tad too sweet, boozy and overripe for my personal taste.
