Our take on a classic Helles, unfiltered and unadulterated, brewed with German Pilsner Malt & supported with a light touch of American hops leading to a clean, crisp finish.
Beautifully hopped in kettle & given 6 weeks of conditioning time this has all of the qualities we love in this style - a refreshing, slightly pithy citrus front end with clean, yeast-lead notes & a slight bitterness on the finish bringing eminent drinkability. A slightly higher finishing gravity than most boosts some of the citrus fruit character. In short this one's an absolute crusher.

I had this beer on-tap in a tulip glass at the brewery in Manchester.
Appearance: medium golden hue with a clear body and a finger of frothy ivory foam atop.
Smell: sweet malt with a little bit of cidery tang to it. It's not bad, but to me that cider character is an off-aroma.
Taste: moderately sweet but again with some of that cidery flavor. It's not as pronounced as in the aroma, but it is still there. Nevertheless it is reasonably tasty.
Mouthfeel: medium-light body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: maybe not the cleanest helles out there but also kinda tasty.
