This IPA is the first in Europe to feature a brand new Hop from @nzhopsltd new Bract Brewers Programme. The Hop is NZH-101 and is in a trial phase with Brewers all over the world. Once the feedback is in, and if it makes the grade, then it shall be granted a proper name.
So… our verdict. It begins with W and ends in OW.
Honestly, when you take part in these programmes it’s always exciting but the final product might not always work out. But this… this is special.
A super juicy IPA, that is brimming with tropical fruits. We get tons of fresh mango, sweet papaya and tinned peach. Ultra low bitterness lets this hop really express itself giving it an almost candy like quality. We can’t wait to hear what you think!

Pours a hazy light orange with soft, soapy head.
Smell is juicy and a bit spicy and peppery. Notes of orange juice, mango, rye, white pepper, melon and gooseberries. A bit sweet with some orange popsicle hints.
Taste is juicy, intense and spicy. Notes of orange, grapefruit, rye, white pepper, melon and gooseberries. Soft but distinct bitterness and a dry finish with hints of orange popsicles. No hop burn despite the incredible hoppiness.
Mouthfeel is medium soft, pillowy and smooth with good carbonation.
Overall, an absolutely stellar IPA. Soft and juicy but with a hell of a punch. Looking forward to seeing more of this hop.
