A base of Extra Pale malt, wheat & Jumbo oats gives this IPA a smooth yet full body with a lighter sweetness which lets the hops do the talking. Mosaic, Citra & Taiheke are the front runners here giving notes of orange peel, papaya & fresh canteloupe melon. The finish is subtly bitter with a lingering, light finish.

Copenhagen 16/1 2021. 44 cl can from Mikkeller web-shop. What looks like colorful clouds on a blue sky on the can. Looks a bit like a commercial for diapers.
Pours opaque hazy, yellow with a mid-sized white head. Fairly stable. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a light, exotic fruitiness mingling with subtle citric notes. Peach and papaya. citrus anf lemon. Pine.
Light carbonation. Thin, oily, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger, citric bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a bitter undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
Very nice and well-balanced, smooth take on a NEIPA.
