The beer was a deep dark brown with a creamy white head, the head lasted most of the beer and there was better than average lacing. The smell of this beer was not very strong but it had the aroma of a toasted caramel malt scent and a slight hint of hops.
The taste of this beer was really good, there was a toasted caramel malt flavor and a slight sweetness that really balanced the beer. On the end of the beer was a nice hop bite, that made the beer almost taste like an imperial stout. The mouthfeel was pretty good, maybe just a little thin for a stout, but the CO2 was just about perfect.
Once again, another really good beer from Brewbakers. Every time I go there I try something different and I am never disappointed.
