One of the better pale ales I’ve had in the twin cities.

Some nice dimensions to this offering, on tap at the tap room. Nice clean bready malts, some petaled citrus blossom and citrus peel on the nose, and this carries forward into the taste, though it is a little sweeter, it is married nicely to some mild bitterness that has a pithy dry finish. Juicy but more of a kiss than dripping with ripe fruit. The body is a little thin, but seems about right for a pale instead of an ipa...no pillowy soft dimension to this, and the malt isn't coming through as much, to me in the body either; there's a little lively hoppy bite at the finish. Maybe a little one-note, but the note is good; and it is very crushable.

"Like the sweet call if the loon, you'll never tire if this smooth, relaxing pale ale. A slight floral aroma with an orange peel finish, this brew is best enjoyed in our taproom or boatin' on the lake, dontcha know. "
Another solid offering from this crew. Better than expected. Not too different from the implosion and easy to crush. This would be a solid MN boatin' brew for sure. Tasty and more fruit going on than just orange.
