16oz can enjoy by date 12/31/21 into a traditional 16oz pint glass.
L: Pours a yeast hazed cinnamon copper with a firm 2 finger beige head that has excellent retention and takes 5-6 minutes to reduce to a cap and another 5 min going down to a thick creamy skin. No visible carbonation, some thick sticky lacing.
S: Rich sweet caramelized malts, grains, berries, a subtle woodiness and light alcohol as the beer warms a bit. It smells sweet.
T: Yeasty biscuit, white pepper, sweet bread, "spicy" hops, a hint of blueberry, old pine throughout and it lingers. There is a slight taste of alcohol as the pint warms. It is moderately full-flavored and has a rich, terse and profound taste that is very controlled.
F: Fast and brisk to start then very soft, juicy medium bodied mouthfeel with a long finish. It's finish is gentle.
O: Relatively sweet but not cloying. The hops and malts share the load and it drinks quite easily for it's ABV. A colorful tasting Double IPA that is impressive and is outstanding in it's style.
