16oz glass from a 32oz crowler filled 3/25/22.
L: Pours black with a 1.5" khaki rocky head w/fairly good retention. Low carbonation, thick sticky random lacing & light banding.
S: Dark bitter chocolate, light char, a hint of coffee, roasty toasty caramelized malts, cocoa.
T: Duncan Hines brand red velvet moist cake, a hint of peanut, light marshmallow, bold dark bakers chocolate, well balanced sweetness/bitterness.
F: Very smooth, plush, soft, heavy-bodied mouth feel w/a comforting med-length finish & light linger.
O: Quite an excellent tasting chocolate stout that is not cloying for it's overall cocoa enhancement. Extremely well balanced, convincing and it is excellent in it's style.
