16oz can into a pint glass.
L: Pours dark murky copper w a lite tan 3/4" head w decent retention, low carbo, light sticky lacing. Lots of tan sediment chunks large & small.
S: Sweet caramelized malts, grassy herbal hops, light citrus, berries, heavy rich malting.
T: Sweet toasted caramelized malts, resinous hops, pine, dark fruits, citrus zest, brown bread, good bitterness but very very malty. Near cloying sweetness. A trace of alcohol as the beer warms.
F: Lightly chewy assertive med-heavy bodied mouthfeel w a resinous med-long linger and a semi-dry finish.
O: A good tasting American Imp IPA that is quite a malt bomb that is generously hopped. Its look is not as appealing as I like for this style, which is kind of West Coast but it is very good.
