16oz can into a 16oz dimple mug.
L: Pours light rusty dirty amber w a thin off white head that goes quickly to nothing but light edge foam, very low carbo, zero lacing.
S: Buttery caramelized malts, grains, a light hint of red apple skin, a hint of smokiness, a sensation of old wood, a wisp of vinegar.
T: Medium-high sweet malts, a light citrus presence, a touch of hop-borne citrus zest bite, tall maltings, a touch of honey, moderately sweet but not cloying, clean finish w very little after taste.
F: Glassy & smooth med to med-heavy bodied w a fairly fast finish and a light linger.
O: Malts and hops are emphasized thoroughly here. A clean drinking, simple and balanced American Marzen. It is very good in its style.
