After the BA Stout hopes are a bit dimmed for an ideal meshing of barrel & style. A 16 oz. can split with my wife.
This is thin & weird. Hand this to me blind & I’m not sure I could identify it as a barleywine, nor the barrel it was dumped into.
This is not good.

From 16oz can Pours a slight hazed iced tea color with a thin khaki head . Smell has som. Dark fruits malt and barrel . Taste has raisins,plu, date and figf , with slight barrel ,malt and baked bread . Mouth feel is thin on the barrel very little whiskey notes . The base is also thin, was underwhelmed for sure on the taste and price
