16 oz can into a nucleated pint glass.
L: Pours medium burnished copper/cinnamon with a very thin off white head that goes to edge foam quickly, almost no carbo bubbles even in a nucleated glass, some skeletal lacing with light banding.
S: Caramelized malts, piney hops, cereal grains, berries, raisins, a hint of brown bread.
T: Sweet malts, sharp pine resin, citrus zest, cookie dough, honey, dark fruits, berries, cereal grains, a hint of bread, strong black tea. Its tastes grasp the taste buds. It is full-flavored with resin and zest lingering for a very long time.
F: Flat, wine-like, smooth, slick and lightly juicy medium bodied with a clean center and a medium-fast brut dry finish.
O: If not poured into a nucleated glass, this beer would feel like room temp tea w/o ice. It is very bitter and very dry with a long linger. Mysteriously malty and resinous and is not a fast drinking beer by any means. Every bit of the 6% ABV is there. This brew seems a bit unrefined. I hope the brewers modify it so that it may have more attenuation. Otherwise it is good in its style.
