Poured on-tap at the brewery and served in a mason jar, the beer is a hazy, muddled, orange-caramel color, with a foamy, clingy, dense, off-white head. Nose of tropical fruit, sweet and grassy notes, with pineapple and melon on the forefront. Flavors are bitter grassy and pine tassel forward, with a quick follow of orange rind and pineapple, and a peppery backbone. Very balanced, and the subtle nuances are terrific. Smooth and dry in mouth, with a spiced hops and citrus aftertaste. Smooth, light, and dry finish. Great beer!
