Poured on-tap at the brewery and served in a mason jar, the beer is jet black, with mahogany highlights, and a clingy halo of off-white head. Nose of subtle coffee, with a solid overlay of cream and milky sweetness. Flavors are creamy sweet forward, with a subtle backbone of roasted coffee and cocoa nib highlights. Light, crisp, dry bodied, with a coffee and cream aftertaste that is well balanced and tasty. Dry, roasted finish, with a solid coffee linger. Solid brew.
