Dessert Berliner. Aroma of Key Lime. Delicate tropical flavors of guanabana and cherimoya paired with madagascar vanilla and a touch of lactose.

12 ounce can into tulip glass; no can dating, but was just released. Pours lightly hazy pale golden straw color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big lightly tart lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, strawberry, banana, coconut, red/green apple, white wine, hay, straw, herbal, grass, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, white bread, light pepper/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/acidic yeast, tropical fruit, vanilla, lactose, and moderate pale/wheat malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big lightly tart lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, strawberry, banana, coconut, red/green apple, white wine, hay, straw, herbal, grass, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, white bread, light pepper/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tartness; light fruit tang, spiciness, and herbal/grassy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, strawberry, banana, coconut, red/green apple, white wine, hay, straw, herbal, grass, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, white bread, light pepper/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/acidic yeast, tropical fruit, vanilla, lactose, and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; with an awesome malt/tartness, and bitter/spiciness balance; with no puckering/astringent flavors after the finish. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Light-moderate increasing dryness from tartness. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately grainy/acidic, and lightly sticky/tangy balanced mouthfeel that is fantastic. Minimal warming 6.5%. Overall this is an outstanding dessert style Berliner. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/acidic yeast, tropical fruit, vanilla, lactose, and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth and fairly crisp/clean/refreshing to drink, with the mellowly acidic/tangy/drying finish, not overly lactic. Not as sweet as other dessert styles I've had, but this was spot on. Balanced juicy tropical fruits and Lacto complexity; with nice vanilla, lactose, and pale/wheat malt balance against acidity. A highly enjoyable offering as expected.
