A New England IPA with a vivid, fresh hop aroma & flavor of citrus, pine needles, apricot, mango & grapefruit pith. Hazy, full-bodied and a smooth mouthfeel with a soft, inviting finish that lacks a hop bitter harshness.

This doesn’t pour hazy at all for me - looks like a beautiful IPA, pretty golden amber. Smells really nice, jammy pastry, fruity berry and cracker, tastes really juicy, nice pine, sort of thick feel, juicy citrus and berry and vanilla, tastes a bit like a pie. Nice hop bitterness cuts the sweetness, this is not hazy by any stretch but is a very nice IPA, probably Batch’s best IPA.

12 ounce can into tulip glass; no can dating, but was just released. Pours lightly hazy deep golden/amber color with a 1 finger dense and rocky white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, red apple, mango, honeydew melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light honey, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, lactose, and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, red apple, mango, honeydew melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light honey, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, red apple, mango, honeydew melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, lactose, and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/lactose/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/silky/bready/grainy/sticky, and fairly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 7%. Overall this is an excellent milkshake NEIPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, lactose, and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the modestly bitter/resinous/drying finish, not overly aggressive. Awesome Azacca, Simcoe, Mosaic, Idaho 7 profile. Very juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/eathy hop complexity; with a nice balancing lactose and wheat/malt backbone. Mild residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. A bit more bitter/drying than expected; but still a very enjoyable offering, and well made style example.
