16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 10/10/2019. Pours moderately hazy reddish/pinkish orange/amber color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice dense spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of juicy/tart/tangy cranberries, fruit skin/seed, lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, melon, red/green apple, red grape/wine, sea salt, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light toast/peppercorn/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of cranberries, fruity/acidic yeast, sea salt, and pale/wheat malt notes; with good strength. Taste of big juicy/tart/tangy cranberries, fruit skin/seed, lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, melon, red/green apple, red grape/wine, sea salt, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light toast/peppercorn/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tartness, fruit tang, and light spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/tangy cranberries, fruit skin/seed, lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, melon, red/green apple, red grape/wine, sea salt, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light toast/peppercorn/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Excellent complexity, robustness, and balance of cranberries, fruity/acidic yeast, sea salt, and pale/wheat malt flavors; with a fantastic malt/tart/tangy balance, and no puckering/astringent flavors after the finish. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering tang/tartness and carbonation. Medium-plus carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, acidic/tangy/tannic, and lightly saline balanced mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5%. Overall this is an excellent fruited gose. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of cranberries, fruity/acidic yeast, sea salt, and pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth, refreshing, and fairly crisp/clean to drink with the mellowly acidic/tangy/tannic/drying finish. Nicely soft and mellowly lactic/salty. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Awesome balance of juicy cranberries and Lacto complexity; with a nice sized clean pale/wheat malt backbone against acidity for the ABV. Mild residual sweetness with crisp acidic/tangy dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and impressive spot on style example as expected.
