Big flavor, body, and ABV coming from the Idaho 7, Mosaic & El Dorado hops, along with subtle bitterness from the Styrian Wolf hops added to the boil & whirlpool.

16 ounce can into IPA glass, canned on 7/7/2020. Pours fairly hazy deep golden amber/light orange color with a 2 finger dense and fluffy off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thich soapy lacing on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas and flavors of big apricot, mandarin orange, mango, melon, pineapple, papaya, passion fruit, pear, berries, citrus peel/zest, wood, peppercorn, pine, honey, bread, light caramel, and herbal/floral/grassy hop earthiness. Big juiciness in the aromas and a bit too much caramel sweetness in the taste. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium-plus carbonation and medium-full body; balanced creamy/bready malts and sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Lightly slick with lingering resins drying after the finish. It's a little rough on the finish, but a smooth sipper for 8.9%. Slightly cloying and astringent at times. Increasing warmth all the way down after the finish. Definitely has some darker melanoidin character from the age, but I would say the hops are still plenty nice, even if faded. Nose was definitely on point. Idaho 7, Mosaic & El Dorado hop profile was on par with what I expected. Big on tropical and stone fruits. Impressive for the style, would have definitely been better fresh, but it deserves a good rating.
