Formerly known as BBA Maple Espresso Cold Brew Coffee Imperial Stout. Brewed with Great Lakes Coffee Roasting Company Hydro espresso and maple syrup. Aged in Detroit City Distillery Bourbon Barrels for over 9 months.

Poured looking like a light coffee brew, but was opaque black in the snifter. The aroma was lost on my Covid damaged nose.
The taste was sweeter than, say, CBS but isn’t cloyingly sweet. So the balance is tilted toward the maple syrup and there are no harsh edges at all. Desert stout.
The feel is pleasantly viscous, befitting the style.
OA, not certain I’ll be buying more of these for myself at least, but if you like the sweet stuff, give it a try.

S - Aroma is black coffee, maple syrup and bourbon.
T - The taste follows the aroma. Black coffee, vanilla, maple syrup and a light bourbon heat.
M - Medium body with medium carbonation. Creamy mouthfeel with a soft dry finish.
O - As advertised. Drinks like a sweetened cold brew aged in a bourbon barrel. Really enjoyable.
