Pours mostly clear light gold with a thin off white head. Aroma is grapefruit notes moderately strong. Taste is sweeter than i would have expected, with a candied grapefruit and tangerine flavor. The finish is moderately bitter and light crisp citrus flavor with a west coast thing going on. Feel is crisp and a little thin.

Not bad but not really a NEIPA as some suggest. Yes, sqeet citrus but it is more a west coast with more sweetness.

I think there are better places to go in Copenhagen if you are just trying to enjoy top-notch beer, but if you like BBQ this place serves a mean brisket!

Visited on a late afternoon on Sunday and it was busy, but a few tables were available. I can see this being packed on Friday/Saturday or holidays, especially in warmer months. Located an easy walk from the main train station, sort of hidden back from the street amidst low-rise warehouse buildings, many of which have been repurposed into retail and restaurant uses. WarPigs is no different, on the first floor of an old warehouse building. Inside, you order your food right at the counter, menu is above, in English. If you're ordering beer with your food you select and pay at the cashier. Otherwise, if you're just drinking, you can go to straight to the bar. Seating is a mix of large tables and benches or bar seating facing the windows. BBQ was very good, however the fried pickles were SUPER greasy, leaving a puddle underneath the bag. Had about 22 beers on tap, including a couple of new collaborations. Food and bar service was excellent and staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Also had some swag for sale. Definitely worth seeking out.

When I arrived in Copenhaven BBQ wasn't on the top of my list for foods. I wanted something more "European." However, I'm glad I found Warpigs. The BBQ was delicious. Tender brisket, spicy pickles, and delicious beans. The beers are expertly crafted. Soft, hazy, full flavored IPA, big, rich stouts, crisp lagers. What more could you ask for? It's a self service restaurant with a laid back vibe. Sit along with others at one of the picnic tables or chose a single seat along the window. Warpigs should be on the short list of a beergeeks stops in Copenhaven.

Aside from an amazing tap list, the brisket is the best I’ve ever had. Anywhere. Ever. We went back the next day just to have more before we went to the airport. The place is huge, with plenty of seating. All of the other food was great, but the brisket.. my god. I’m going to dream about that shit.

This place, naturally, had a very strong 3Floyds Brewpub vibe to it since it is a collab brewery between Mikeller and 3Floyds. Tons of 3 Floyds memorabilia, posters, etc all over the walls as well as Mikeller.

Vibe had 'mostly visitors/few locals' to the place but with predominantly a crowd that was fully aware of where they were. It had quite a 3Floyds feel to it with metal themes and heavy metal music blasting from the speakers.

Solid BBQ food menu. Selection was possibly the best I've ever seen for beer. Approximately 20 beers on draft and then maybe 150+ in bottles which included many Barrel Aged Dark Lord variants. The prices might have been steeper than you would expect but rare beers were available if you were willing to pay the price.

Loved the place, the beer, the vibe and the food. Would recommend this place to anyone going to Copenhagen, especially if you want to get a bit of a taste of 3Floyds and you are unable to visit the brewery in Munster, Indiana.

Vibe: I visited on late afternoon/early evening on a Wednesday and it seems to be a popular after work hangout spot in the Meatpacking district. There are lots of picnic tables both inside and outside. There is no waiter service but you can walk up to purchase beers at the bar and food at the adjacent kitchen and bring them back to your table. There was lots of loud 90s grunge music playing

Quality: Beers were served in glassware at the proper temperature.

Service: Although there was no waiter service, there was plenty of people working behind the bar so I never had to wait on line to order beers.

Selection: There were 22 beers on-tap ranging in styles from wheat beers to sours to stouts. Most beers came in 40 cl glasses and higher alcohol content beers came in 20 cl snifters.

I really enjoyed my evening at Warpigs. Great open food hall vibe, a very large tap list of Warpigs beers (some of which were very good), a nice to-go bottle list, and tasty BBQ. There were even some vegetarian food options. Definitely a fun place and not to be missed if you are in Copenhagen.

Went here while attending a conference in Copenhagen. Really easy to find. Helps when there are lots of people seated outside enjoying themselves. I went inside and lots more people doing the same. Inside they played decent music. The beer? They had 20 taps, lots of them IPA's. The staff was friendly and helpful when I asked for a recommendation and the 19 inch neck IPA hit the spot. From the vibe it was apparent that this wasn't full of beer geeks discussing which hops are best on the third Friday of the summer months, rather than people socializing and enjoying good beer. I will return here if I ever visit Copenhagen again.

Out of the 4 beers our group tried, none were drinkable. We left half full glasses. Was very excited about visiting here, but was extremely let down. The beef jerky was good though. Probably overpriced.

One if my favorite spots in Copenhagen. Co-owned by Three Floyds and Mikkeller, this is a BBQ joint with it's own brewery.

Warpigs is located in an old slaughterhouse, and the decor is pretty minimalist, with long benches and tables.

Food is solid BBQ, brisket, links and ribs, done perfectly. The taplist is about twenty strong, and rotates often. They mostly have their own beer, but guests do pop up. The only drawback is everything is served in the same kind of glass, but it's a minor gripe. Every beer I've had by them has been at least solid.

I try to go to Warpigs for lunch, because the place is almost empty, and you can enjoy the great food and beer in peace. When crowded, the place gets very loud and hot.

Overall, WarPigs is a must if you like beer and meat!

Came here on a recent visit to Copenhagen & immediately noticed how big the place was. Very similar to Brewdog's new Glasgow location with a focus on smoked, slow-cooked meats so now I guess I know how Brewdog came up with the idea. Only had the one in the place & prices were about on par with other places in Copenhagen (ie. expensive) but the quality of beers was good. Selection wise, I had been expecting more & I know it's a Warpigs Brewpub but literally every beer available was from them. Given it's backed by Mikkeller & 3 Floyd's I had been expecting to see one or two from them sneak in but maybe I was just unlucky. A nice enough bar but probably not one that I'd rush back to in a hurry.

Absolutely loved this place. If you enjoy 3 Floyds, this should definitely go on your bucket list since it was pretty much 3 Floyds disguised as a collaborative effort. The only Mikkeller vibe that I got from the place is the fact that their name is on the building. This is all FFF from the decor to the beer.

The inside of the place is very cool since it used to be an old slaughterhouse; tile walls, tile floors. The place is very clean. Picnic tables inside that can seat so many people. Also a large outside seating area with more picnic tables. It creates an awesome atmosphere for drinking since, unlike most American pubs, you dont have to wait for a seat. Grab your beer and food and search for a spot to sit. Often times you will sit with strangers and that makes for a great opportunity to meet the Danes or tourists from all over.

American BBQ decorations meet the hardcore image of FFF at this place. Despite its clean and sleek appearance, there is plenty of industrial themed metal in the place to go with the heavy metal music that lets you know that FFF has put their stamp on the pub.

Food is cafeteria style. Grab a tray and order your meats and sides at the counter. You can see the entire kitchen behind the counter which gives a pretty awesome look into what's going on. 1/4 pound, 1/2 pound, and whole pounds of meat are available and affordable with absolutely delicious sides (burnt end baked beans and spicy pickles were my favorite. Excellent potato salad too). The meats are cut and weighed right in front of you.

There arent necessarily waiters and waitresses. People may pick up your glasses and trays, but dont wait on you. All beer is purchased at the bar and the staff is always on the move serving up glass after glass of tasty brews. Often times there were four bartenders behind the bar serving beer all around the bar top. There is always a line for beer during peak hours, but the staff does their best to move quickly. Excellent staff.

Beers were fantastic. Some of them were clearly FFF creations (Scarf Squad was almost Gumballhead, Big Drunk Baby is a close relative to Dreadnaught, and Moonbase of Filth was a spinoff of Backmasking). Two cocktails on tap too which I highly recommend. The gin and tonic was fantastic.

Newly opened gift shop is available through a small door to the right of the main entrance. Grabbed a few shirts and a hat. The BBQ sauces are available too (recommend the Alabama and Carolina).

The food seemed a little better in the late evening versus the early afternoon. Make sure to get there before 6pm though if you want all of the meats available as they do sell out by the end of the night.

Overall I couldnt get enough of this place. I stayed 5 minutes away and made 5 visits here. The staff was amazing.. they were friendly and even took me out to some bars a couple nights.

If you go to Copenhagen, your trip isnt complete without a visit here.

Not well thought out for the beer lover. Touristy with a bad format for ordering beer from cute bartenders who seem put out by the whole thing. Good beer selection saves it.

Well I just loved this place. Texas style BBQ in the heart of the meatpacking district, with FFF, Mikkeller, and Warpigs beers on tap. What's not to love?

Strong aroma of wood smoke throughout (which I liked), excellent BBQ, plenty of seating (picnic table style), and maybe 20 taps. Loads of goodies on the bottle list too!

The price wasn't really too bad given you're in Copenhagen. I paid between $22-30 for a BBQ meal and a beer each time I went.

Highly recommended! Plus you should head to Fermentoren afterward for another beer, it's right around the corner.
