The second installment of our “Spring Hop” 750 special release is Viridis Lupulus 2014, which features a different blend of hops than 2013’s debut. Viridis Lupulus 2014 is made with a ridiculous amount of El Dorado, Centennial and Bravo hops. We’ve used a new piece of equipment on this new brew… The Hop Minion! It’s a dry-hopping recirculation pump and special vessel which helps get the most out of the hops added to the fermenters.

Cloudy golden color , big white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, honey, and caramel. My bottle wasn't exactly fresh, so taste was faded , but still good. Sweetness balanced by bitterness. Classic DIPA.

750 ml bottle. Neck dated 4/1/14 and 8/11/14 dates. Assume bottled on and best by. Should have checked before I bought.
Pour s a hazy orange-golden color, with a massive 3 inch head, that settles down to a half inch covering of stiff thick foam. Leaves huge clumps and rings of lacing. Nice hoppy aroma, citrus, earthy, grassy. Malt flavor is enough to balance the hop flavor, some slight caramel flavor. Smooth mouthfeel, moderate carbonation.
Very good, wish I had it fresher.
