Take the best coffee stout and make it smoother. Outstanding. Would love to see them bottle this one day.

Sunday Afternoon Siesta is Sunday Morning Stout with Ecuadorian cocoa nibs and lactose.
Jet black pour with a very small dark tan head. Chocolate, bourbon, and roasted malt, without as much of the coffee and vanilla aromas and flavors you get from the base version. The bourbon presence is strong and powerful but the lactose smooths things out and tames the beast a bit. Full bodied and creamier than the base version. A great treat available only at the brewery and a nice surprise.
