Poured into a custom shaped glass: color is hazy gold, head presents 1/2 inch thick then dissipates to a thin top, some lacing.
Smell is citrus, lemon zest, peppery, herbal.
Taste has a larger malt flavor, a little bready a little biscuit, hops are less pronounced than aroma with citrus, lemon, pepper and herbs all present.
Mouthfeel is crisp, bitter, maybe too bitter with the tongue drying out quickly.
Overall, a good low end IPA with fresh citrus and herbal notes but a bit over bittered on the mouthfeel.

12 oz bottle with a July 2016 bottling date.
Hazy pale golden body with a good, semi-durable white head that leaves lots of lacing.
Aroma: Fruity and subtly herbal with oranges and other tropical fruits.
Flavor: Moderately bitter but quite hoppy. The bitterness quickly builds but is cut off at a moderate level by a significant malt load.
Lively carbonation in a near medium body.

This IPA features Simcoe and Denali hops. Bottled on 7/8/16. 12oz bottle poured into a tulip. Pours a hazy yellow golden with a fluffy eggshell white head that slowly falls leaving great retention and sticky lacing. The aromas are subtle with bright tropical and citrus notes. Lots peach and mango. Malts are there, but seem to take a backseat. The flavors follow the nose perfectly. The flavors are bittersweet. More peach and mango along with some grapefruit. Pine needles and fresh grass is in the mix. Solid hop bitterness with solid hop flavor. Malts do their thing without being overwhelming. Alcohol goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is very nice. It's light with active carbonation, but remains fluffy and creamy. Very smooth and easy to drink.
This is a nice IPA. It's very clean, crisp and refreshing. Nice use of simcoe hops. Well crafted and very enjoyable stuff. I like it. I personally like this one more than IPA #1.
