Look: It pours hazy golden with a white head. Head retention is good.

Smell: It has aromas of citrus, stone fruit, grass and a bit of pineapple. There are background notes of bread and caramel.

Taste: It has strong stone fruit flavors of apricot with adds a sweet touch to it. There are also moderate bread notes with some low caramel. there is low citrus as well.

Feel: It has a moderately body with moderate bitterness.

Overall, this has plenty of flavor and is a very easy drinking IPA.

12 oz. can poured into a tulip glass.

L---Hazy, opaque orange/amber color. Meaty off-white head that had good retention and left nice lacing. Looks every bit a classic IPA.

S---Pine is dominant. Also tropical fruits like pineapple & mango.

T---Thick with tropical fruits. Excellently balanced with malty grains.

F---Sticky & resinous. Heavier than I was expecting. Nicely carbonated.

O---This is quality stuff. Juicy & piney. Best of all worlds. Will definitely keep an eye out for this one in the future.

Canned 3/8/18, gotta get this movin'. Hazy honey color with a 2 finger head with some webby lacing.

Ahhh. Fresh pine needles on the nose. Lots of greenery. Fresh cut grass. Light honey biscuit. Light perfumey notes. This is really refreshing.

Flavor has some bright pine coming first followed by honey and floral notes, pretzel, cracker, faint dough.

Feel is medium bodied, semi-creamy, with some busy carbonation, and lingering oil on the finish.

Overall, a decent beer with a beautiful nose. Not quite as impressive on the flavor but that could be due to some hop fading. Might try again, probably not though.

12 oz can, canned 3/8/18, into an IPA glass, a cloudy orangish gold, with two fingers of fluffy white head. The aroma is citrus and bready grains. The taste is right in line with a slight twinges of pine and dank/herbal tea qualities. The mouthfeel is medium, a touch creamy, but with a medium high level of carbonation. A decent IPA.

Weyerbacher Brewing Co. "Mean Squeeze"
12 fl. oz. can, "Canned:030918..." and sampled on 051518
$2 @ Wegmans, Collegeville, PA

Notes via stream of consciousness: Nice label! It's poured a very hazy golden-orange body beneath a finger-thick head of yellowed off-white foam. The aroma is resinous, clearly citrusy with juice and chalky pith, pineapple, and pine. The label lists Galaxy and Denali hops and I'd say they were good choices. On to the flavor... citrusy but without being real clear about the fruit, although I'm getting some lemon and orange, piney but gently so, mildly pineapple-ish, and supported by a delicate biscuity malt base. It's not that bitter, but of course it's not supposed to be, is it? I'm assuming this is supposed to be along the lines of a "juicy" New England-style IPA. I'll guess it's around 20 IBUs but I could be off. It's medium leaning towards medium-light in body and gently crisp. Overall it's quite nice. It delivers on the juiciness both in the aroma and flavor, and it's really nicely balanced. I've had brighter citrus aromas and more densely juicy flavors but they've always come with a bit more body and malt flavor and this seems lighter and more refined (less of that raw citrus pith), and highly drinkable. So while I'm not initially blown away with it because it's not "melt your face" juicy, I'm even more enamored of it in the end because it's a much more refined, smoother, and more refreshing experience across the board. Superb in my opinion! Absolutely worth seeking out.
