This one’s for the FANS! If there’s one thing that most of the NFC East can agree on, it’s that DALLAS SUCKS! Flavor forward, this brew was made for tailgating in parking lots, celebrating first downs and big hits, high-fiving friends and basking in the thrill of victory. This totally downable pale ale was brewed with our friends that bleed green at Jose Pistola’s!

12 ounce can poured into a shaker pint glass.
CANNED ON 11/01/24

L: Clear pale yellow, effervescent pour, two finger white head, dense foam lessens to a collar in five or so minutes.
S: Quick funky note, then fresh zesty hops, hints of orange pulp.
T: Grainy toasted barley to open, just a touch of sweetness, orange zesty hops for middling bitterness, a little peppery on the back.
F: Medium-weight body, moderate carb, overall soft and somewhat creamy, works a minor bite in the middle.
O: Toned down but nice more traditional style APA, decent and refreshing easy drinker.

Looks better than it smells. An unappealing off note gradually fades and replaced by a more familiar aroma of floral and citrus hops. Taste is pretty standard; nothing great nor too disappointing. Well carbonated, medium bodied mouthfeel.

A- pale gold yellow with a 4 finger head that is splotchy lacing on the pint.

S- lemon, grapefruit and hibiscus

F- grapefruit and lemon dominate.

M-Dry and hoppy. The citrus dominates too much and take away from the beer.

O- its ok but i have had better. The color and smell seem on point but the flavor is overbearing.

Love the labeling, but the beer is pedestrian. Unexceptional. Nothing memorable. Something to acknowledge briefly, and then move on to better choices. Far more like the Cowboys than the Eagles.

DATE: February 1, 2019... OCCASION: relaxing before our annual Quiz Bowl trip to Phillipsburg... GLASSWARE: Brew at the Zoo pint... though out of season, this pours with the freshness of September football, a golden orange body with clumpy, spongy white head rife with pock marks and expansive bubbles... the head laces wonderfully, with thick coral... for a light-hearted, tail-gating ale, the resin is dank and thick... its orange citrus mixes with grapefruit and light, and bread malts are tangible enough to lend balance... nothing extraordinary here--just a straight-up pale ale...its working-class mouthfeel allows for a swift, smooth finish, an easy forgetful light-bodied experience... the citrus is the strongest flavor here, though resin and basement are recognizable too... this is a reasonable one-off that came back a second year...

Decent pale. Here goes:

A: Murky orange. Plenty of carbonation, and the head and lacing are decent. Alright, but doesn't look too appetizing.

S: Tropical fruits; very dank smell. Grapefruit, lemons, and orange. Somewhat bready, though; probably attributable to the yeast.

T: Follows the nose. Little bit of a funny aftertaste, though, and I think it may be from the yeast. Grapefruit and orange from the malt.

F: Alright.

O: A good beer. Nothing special, though

First of all, I'd like to state that, as a lifelong Redskins fan, I hate the Cowboys, and I think it's funny how much Eagles fans think they have the big rivalry with Dallas. Maybe more of the underdog state of mind that Philadelphia has?
Anyhow, I'm up for this beer just from name alone.
Pours hazy gold with big white head. Retention ain't great, but nice lace
Smells like honey and tropical fruit.
Some tea like flavors. Herbal, floral, citrus, honey. Hits a lot of notes, but nothing really stands out
Light, very drinkable!
Definitely one I could drink a few of over a Sunday afternoon watching the Cowboys choke

Decanted from a 12 oz (355 ml) can into a Kane Brewing snifter; no obvious production information.
A: Pours a hazy, dark amber color (orange highlights) with a three-quarter inch, off white head, low retention and modest, somewhat soapy lacing.
S: Transient aroma of citrus, but mostly caramel/molasses and canteloupe.
T: Palate almost all caramel and bread. Light, peppery bitterness with bitter aftertaste.
M: Medium bodied with somewhat low carbonation.
O: Love the concept, but the execution is really subpar. Drinkable, but just. Frankly, surprised by the consistently high ratings. Just not that impressed.
