Draft at the brewery
Light fizzy head, touch of lacing, very clear golden orange color
Nose generic tropical, mild pineapple, candied citrus zest, hint sweet candy malt and booze, stone fruit preserves
Taste more pineapple, pineapple candy and jam, little stone fruit and citrus, more rind, fruit preserves, sweet candy malt, little toasty, hops get mild spicy piney late with sticky set finish
Mouth is med to fuller bod, decent carb, hint of booze warmth
Overall ok but not great, nothing too special and def misses all the important points to bring a NEIPA.

16 oz can poured into a weizen glass.
Appearance
Gold. 1+ finger of creamy white head. Moderate carbonation. Slight haze.
Nose
Mango, dank, wintergreen, pine, and honey.
Taste
Overripe mango, papaya, and grapefruit pith. Dank greens, pine resin, wintergreen, and eucalyptus. Big honey sweetness sets it off-balance. The alcohol presence is noticeable.
Mouthfeel
Full bodied, crisp, creamy, silky, sweet, and warming.
Overall
It falls short to be considered a NE DIPA. No haze, no juice. Even with the sweetness it doesn't really fall under an American Barleywine. It's just a sweet, boozy beer.

A: pours orange, maybe a slight haze, decent head and loose lacing
S: boozy pine and onion, hint of orangey citrus
T: bitter, malty, and a touch of buttery flavor. Not all that pleasant.
F: average to dry feel.
O: I wanted to see if they could do a Ne IPA or even a solid fresh-hop beer, but I found this to be neither. I won't be revisiting this
