Poured out a pure red color with a thick pink head. Nose is mostly sour, with fruit, but fairly dry. Tastes is super sour, with a tiny amount of fruit lurking in the back, more cranberry and something that kind of tastes like a tootsie pop. Has a fairly crisp mouthfeel, finishes somewhat dry, but pretty sour.

On tap at the KSBF 06.
Poured a deep and cloudy / murky purple color with a smaller purple head. Lots of raspberry chunks that would cling to the side of the glass. Consistency of a fruit smoothy. I heard the later pours were thinning out (I had one of the 1st pours). Personally, I liked it the chunky and murky way.
Aromas of raspberries, brett, and some wood.
Tastes of raspberries, berries, wood, and brett. Tart and sour finish.
I enjoyed this for a fruit beer and found the leather / brett characteristic enjoyable.

A: The ale is a raspberry red color with a thick head.
S: There is no fruit to be found here, only the intensely sour brettanomyces aroma.
T: Brett sourness! My face puckered up from the first sip to the last. I struggled to find any raspberry flavors that could escape the brett black hole.
M: The sourness is too strong to really enjoy. As a plus though, that sourness is effective and very drying, forcing another sip.
D: The drinkability is moderate. The sourness is tough but it fits well in the style.
