Poured from a 16 oz. can. Has a copper color with a 1 inch head. Smell is of citrus, malts, rye. Taste is rye, grapefruit, light malts, a mild bitterness. Feels medium/full bodied in the mouth and overall, nothing special, but it's a pretty good beer.

Aroma – 4 – Floral hops, rye, and some oak.
Flavor – 4.25 – Dank and earthy with rye spiciness and oak. Neither pine nor vanilla. No alcohol (5 % ABV), no diacetyl, no dimethylsulfide.

Cloudy but translucent amber with a rocky tan head. Good retention and tons of streaky, gloppy lacing.
Smells malty, a bit old; caramel, toffee, toast, honey, a hint of pink grapefruit, peppery rye.
Tastes better than it smells. Toast with honey, toffee, pink grapefruit flesh, bitter grapefruit peel, black peppery rye, a hint of vanilla and oak tannins. Super smooth and not too sweet even with its apparent age.
Creamy mouthfeel, medium, well carbonated, slick but ends clean.
A nice rye pale ale! I wish I could try this fresher. A great beverage dedicated to one of my favorite bands.
