Poured from a 32oz Crowler filled at Weyerbacher.
A - Dark golden orange color with nice clarity and thin, frothy white head and lacing on top.
S - Mango, citrus, and pineapple on the nose with a sweet candied fruit nuance to it.
T - Light sweet candied citrus, mango, and ends with a pine bitterness to balance out the sweetness. On the very backside after the sip there's some vinous pineapple that pokes through. Leaves some residual citrus on the pallet.
M - Full and viscous body, some stickiness on the lips, and dry on the back of the tongue. There's some slight warming on the way down from the ABV.
O - Not a strong personality with this one, it sorta just hangs out. In the line-up of Weyerbacher IPA's there's far better ones. It's OK and glad to have tried it. In defense of this beer, it's been in the Crowler for 8 days now and I remember the taste sample I had at the brewery had some pretty intense mango presence, it very well could have faded over the past 8 days as well, hard to tell.
