Big and bad in the best ways possible, Enormity is what happens when we trap Tiny, our Belgian Imperial Stout, in bourbon barrels for many months. Layers of roast and dark chocolate commingle with vinous oak and vanilla, atop notes of fine American Bourbon. Truly an extreme experience.

Poured from a bottle into pint glass in May 2026. I drank this within 1 month of purchase at the Easton taproom. There was no drink by date on the bottle.
Appearance: Dark black with a thin tan/brown head. Head is thin, and does not leave much lacing on the glass.
Smell: Strong aroma of roasted coffee, bourbon, and toasted malts. There is some bitter aroma like hops, and a hint of sweetness like chocolate and caramel as well, but overall the roasted coffee and bourbon dominate the others.
Taste: There is a nice balance between the roasted malts and bourbon flavors. There is some coffee flavor, a little chocolate flavor, and bitter hop flavors to enhance the taste and add some complexity. There is a strong alcohol presence as with other Imperial Stout.
Mouth-feel: Very thick, but with a smooth body, that is not too creamy.
This is a nice, complex, strong Imperial Stout, and it has a variety of flavors that adds a nice complexity to the beer. Although this is a big beer, it is very smooth and really enjoyable to drink. Compared to Weyerbachers' Tiny, it has a little more body and variety of flavors, and it is more smooth. All of these Weyerbacher Stouts are excellent, with interesting differences between them. Overall this Sunday Morning Stout is one of my favorite Imperial Stouts, and maybe the best of the Weyerbachers stouts. My current ranking of these Weyerbacher stouts (best first) is:

From the 12 oz bottle in a snifter. This monster pours a coal black with dark tea highlights
and a moderate head of tan foam that settles to a thick ring, thin clumping layer, and
displays some decent lacing with some nice legs on a swirl. Nose of dark chocolate,
rich bourbon, oak, light vanilla, and vinous brandy notes. Flavors follow the nose with
aplomb with dark chocolate drenched in bourbon, oak, light vanilla, moderate char,\
light brulee, and vinous brandy/Merlot nuances that are very nice dashd with a
touch of coffee. Mouth feel is full, smooth, moderately slick, coating, warming,
medium light leaning towards light carbonation, and finishing lightly dry,
warming, and ending with a nice bitter malt note.
Overall, a STELLAR brew from one of my favorite breweries!
Cheers

12oz bottle sent my way from @jzeilinger; 11.8% abv indicated on the label
Poured into a Big Head's Belgian-style tulip
P black w/ a few tan bubbles and a thin ring
N med nose of cocoa and coffee
T bold, complex profile of coffee, barrel, dark fruit (jammy plum), roast, and dark chocolate; finishes w/ a solid amount of bitterness; some sharp booze in the aftertaste w/ a fairly hearty dose of warmth; a unique floral note in there too (most likely from the Belgian character of the base beer); unique and pleasant
Mf med-full bodied w/ med to med-high carb; lightly velvety, yet a bit sticky as well
O a complex and unique barrel-aged stout- I dig it

Reviewed one week after 2024 bottle release. Poured into a Weyerbacher tulip glass at 59° It pours ink black with a half finger of creamy, light mocha-colored head and thick, swirls of lacing. The bourbon barrel is strong on the nose but I also smell roasted malt, toffee, brown sugar, burnt coffee, leather, tobacco smoke, and earthy char. Initially, the bourbon influence dominates but as it breathes the other flavors develop. The chocolate is sweeter and the coffee less bitter. There is also the sweetness of toffee/brown sugar which balances the earthy bitterness. While it's quite boozy, over time the barrel influence is less dominant and it compliments the other flavors. I'm wondering how the bourbon will mellow over time. Finally, I'm noting some of the dark fruit that I remember from the base stout, Tiny. The mouth feel is fairly creamy with lite carbonation. Per the bottle this batch is 11.8% ABV - I'm not sure I'd want to drink the 14.1% version from 2022. Overall, Enormity is a big, boozy Imperial Stout but it has a lot to commend it. I'll be interested in seeing how the other bottles age. Btw, I commend Weyerbacher from bottling it in 12 oz. format.

A - Black colored pour with uber thin caramel colored lacing.
S - A little bit of yeastyness, chocolate roasted malt, and some Bourbon.
T - The Bourbon character in this beer is BIG with Bourbon boozy presence from start to finish. Chocolate base is an afterthought with chocolate char, a slight bit of vanilla, some cherry, and more lingering booziness.
M - Thick and syrupy with a silky texture and warming in the back of the throat.
O - Very good, but very boozy.
