AutumnFest is Weyerbacher’s own unique twist on the German Oktoberfest style. Copper-amber in color, AutumnFest is made with Vienna and Munich malts for that authentic, Bavarian easy drinking taste. Each sip imparts a wonderful roastiness of malt on the tongue followed by a smooth, consistent finish.

Wonderfully balanced with a clean, velvety, slightly fruity taste, AutumnFest is the perfect beer for the Fall – a nice transition between the lighter beers of summer and the darker, heavier winter brews. It’s a favorite of many Weyerbacher aficionados, who anticipate the end of summer with this wonderful beer.

Weyerbacher’s AutumnFest, 5.4% ABV, is generally available in stores August through November. Pick up a case to celebrate the change of seasons. Prost!

Poured from a 12 ounce bottle into a BrewDog cervoise glass. Bottled on 31 August 2015. Best before 31 December 2015.
3.5/3/3.5/4/3.25
A: Half a finger of short-lived head tops a lightly hazy, effervescent chestnut-colored beer.
S: Smells like sweet wort, and not much else.
T/M: Oh, wow, better than it smelled! It's what it purports to be -- a malty, amber ale that's somewhere between a generic 'red' and a winter warmer. Smooth, round, and sweetly robust. The aftertaste isn't much to write home about, but the maintaste has a light appley fruitiness to weave amongst the banal malt.
O: Not much good, but nothing bad. Solid enough.

The beer is a brownish amber color an little cloudy and has very little head. The smell is faint but smells of alcohol, a little bready and spicey. I taste the alcohol up front when sipping which gives way to a bitter sweet flavor. The spicyness comes through in the flavor as well. The beer has ample carbonation and is somewaht thin.

-no head, amber. Lacing swirls up top of liquid
-Sweet, licorice, no hop smell, alcohol, slight yeast
-Grainy, caramel, licorice, belgian type spice, alcohol
-Alcohol burn with swallow, odd for low abv, little carbonation, smooth

-not what i was expecting but tasty almost like a mix between a Belgian dubbel and amber ale. Tasty.

Poured 12oz bottle into snifter glass. 5.4% abv

Appearance- Pours a reddish-brown with a two finger head quick to dissipate. Partly hazy.

Smell- Fresh bread/crackery malt. Caramel

Taste- Lightly toasted malt, with just a touch of caramel sweetness. A bit nutty and grainy at the same time. Finishes with a slight grassy hop flavor with a touch of bitterness. Still retains the light caramel malt taste as well.

Mouthfeel- Medium is body, medium carbonation.

Overall- A very tastey, smooth red ale. Very similar to an Oktoberbest. Great beer for the season. Recommended!
