On tap at uno’s. Aroma is dirt, floral. Yellow color, small head. Taste is ash, wood, hair spray. One of those IPAs that are typical and that others like a lot more than me."

One of the five beers that I tasted at our local Uno's as part of their sampler.

Appearance: Light brown, hazy.
Aroma: Hops and apricot.
Taste: Lovely complexity, hops, citrus and honey. Oh my!! Heavenly.
Mouthfeel: Some bitterness, but nothing unpleasant.

Overall: Just a phenomenally great beer. Of the 5 beers I tasted today, this was the best.

A - Slightly hazed golden body with a thin white head that has some retention and lace.

S/T - Simple, straightforward, easy drinking IPA. Pine, a little pineapple and grapefruit with a clean biscuity malt backbone. Finishes with leafy pine bitterness, a little caramel sweetness as it warms.

M - Medium body, medium carbonation, smooth consistency.

O - Not the greatest depth of flavors, but its clean, bitter, and easy drinking.

I had this beer right after a messy tasting of oak aged quad and belgian style imperial stout. Not that the tasting was bad, it was just way out of order. However the hops are the clear winner of this one. I was told that this is a special house beer that Weyerbacher brews for Uno pizza somewhere in Philly. I'm glad to hear that, so may be more of the masses can get exposed to a fine ipa that probably sits amidst a draft line up of american adjunct "lite" beers. Go Weyerbacher!

This beer poured out as a nice looking yellowish gold color, the head was white and has a touch of lacing on the glass. The retention isn't too bad either here. The smell of this beer is loaded with some intense hop aromas. Hardly much malt character on the nose at all. The taste of the beer has an intense hoppy bitterness to it as well, this is one of the more impressive IPA's recently from Weyerbacher. The mouthfeel of the beer is medium bodied and has a sharp bitter dry finish to it. Overall this beer was pretty good I thought. I found some of the hop notes were a little on the funky side but still remains to be one solid IPA.

On Tap

A- Big Ern pours out a even mix of faint red with burnt orange with a small haze to it, A 1/2 inch of off white foam comes up than exits quick leaving small spots of lace, not coating the glass.

S- A nice scent coming from this IPA, Im getting hops giving of citrus/Tropical fruit with some grapefruit and mango. The hops also give off grassy scents. A good amount of malt to even things out.

T- This is fresh for sure, Im impressed with the taste. The hops are up front giving off a slight bitterness but nothing tounge buckeling. The grassy scents come out a bit more in taste, but the citrus is up front. The malts are somewhat bready and give off a sweet aftertaste. After warming up the taste dwindles a bit

M- The bitterness is light yet not tame. This one is bordering on medium bodied with some carb built in. Grassy taste afterwards with warming.

D- This is easy drinking with a slightly above sessionable ABV but who cares, the taste makes this one a winner.

- Brewed by weyerbacher for unos as thier house beer. draft in pint glass at unos mt. laurel nj.

A: Pale orange moderate clarity with a light carbonation detection. The head was slight, foamy, oatmeal in color but retained well enough. Strong sticky concentric circles compose the lace.

S: The nose was sweet and fruity.Light pale grain backing modest in strength.

T: Some fresh pineapple and mangos first appear along with some light citrusy and orange notes. The beer turns progressively bitter with grassy and dry fruit notes.

M: The mouthful was light with a quiet carbonation, a bit laid back and relaxed lacking a crisp bite.

O: Overall this beer starts sweet and fruity and progresses to a more bitter flavor and gets smoother with each sip. A good repeat drinker, balanced nicely enough for repeatability.

Had on tap at Uno's in Doylestown Pa. This beer is brewed exclusively for the chain. Forgive the brief review based on notes on napkin. Vessel was 22oz. pilsner style glass.

A: Hazy light copper color. One inch white head which disappears rather quick. Nice lacing as its enjoyed.

S: Decent nose with good combination of pine and citrus

T: Mostly citrus with a little pine

M: Medium bodied. No notice of the 6.7%abv.

D: This is pretty middle of the road for an IPA but worth trying and i plan on getting next time im in Uno's. It's nice trying a beer that you can't get everywhere and i wish other brewerys would do this type of thing.

Edit: Just realized that the discription of the beer reads it is 5.9%. The menu i read stated it was 6.7%.Possibly because of different batches.

On tap at Uno Chicago Grill at Neshaminy Mall

A: This IPA poured a nice golden color with a 1" Head

S and T: This IPA has a nice floral bitterness.

M: It has a nice balance of crisp, clean malt backbone and it is not overwhelming of bitter hops.

D: This is an IPA that I will drink again.

A collaboration for Uno's from The Weyerbacher Company. Pours a crystal clear golden with a decent white heading. Great lacing until the very end. A heavy floral aroma and a slight soggy bread aroma. Taste is very much the same. A solid light crisp malt backbone and a heavy green linger of bitter hops. Very drinkable and an awesome pairing with any of Uno's foods.
