’Tis the season to be jolly! Our 2024 holiday ale is brimming with cozy comfort. Gather round. Barley, oat, wheat and rye malts set the table for our newest tradition. Sweet notes of baked goodies entice the senses. Special small batch gingerbread cookies from Back Door Bakeshop in Bethlehem, PA, were added to the mash, providing signature Christmas City charm. The warm embrace of cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg, clove, orange peel and ginger mingles with thoughtful hopping to bring that holiday cheer.

A little out of season, but I picked up a bottle at a good price.
Pours a very dark brown (almost stout-like) color with honey edges and a finger of tan head. The nose has a warm blend of holiday spice - cinnamon and ginger stand out. There's more of the holiday spiciness in the flavor profile along with some molasses sweetness. Cinnamon is featured on the finish.
I really liked this offering and will definitely have it on my list when the 2025 Christmas beers come around.

Poured from a bottle into pint glass in December 2024. I drank this about 1 week after purchase. There was no bottled date on the label or bottle.
Appearance: Amber/orange. Hazy like an IPA.
Smell: Pleasant, with a spicy aroma. Some caramel aroma with earthy aroma to a lesser extent.
Taste: Unique taste. I can definitely taste the spicy flavors which makes for a unique taste. Some malt flavors. Their Imperial Pumpkin has more flavor, which I prefer.
