I had this one at the Lombard location. I see it is actually brewed about 15 miles away in their Warrenville outpost. Beer was served in standard pint glass and was a fairly dark gold with a nice white head. Virtually no head to speak off.
Nose was not bad. Some hop/spice notes and a nice biscuit type aroma that I assume was from the malt.
Beer was freakishly evenly balanced. Perfect 50/50 malts and hops. You get some nice astringent hop bite, but it is quickly balanced by some smooth matly sweetness. Beer could be punched up a notch, but is not to bad.
Smooth easy drinking beer. I dont know the ABV, but Im guessing its low enough to be a session beer.
