A: Pale Amber with a small off-white head. Left spots of lace in its wake.
S: The nose was pleasant enough. It's made up of a combination of caramel, lemon and brown sugar in roughly equal measure.
T: Started out OK with caramel and dark sugar sweetness. A mild pepper bitterness arrived next. Then things got horrible. A face wincing combination of sourness, sickly saccharine sweetness and straight up rubbing alcohol assaulted my palate and wouldn't let go until I drank a healthy dose of water. It was simply a nasty experience. My guess was either the batch was infected or; more likely, the tap lines were very dirty.
M: The medium body is syrupy and had soft carbonation.
D: Ouch. This beer started out OK, but quickly fell to the depths of the the undrinkable. My best guess is that the beer's recipe wasn't the problem. QC was most likely to blame. But then again, maybe not.

Bright clear golden copper color with no real head off the tap. Vibrant color, but it just looks like a light, watery beer in the glass. There is a big sweet caramel malt nose and hints of grain and grassy hops with a nice light fruitiness (apple/grape) as well. Farily nice.
Frist sip brings a malty sweet caramel upfront with light fruit flavors throughout. Ends with a herbal/grassy hop twang on the back of the throat. Full bodied maltiness with a nice mix of flavors. Not a bad brew.
Chewy, creamy mouthfeel. Medium full on the palate and bigger in body than looks led onto. Goes down smooth and enjoyable. I could drink a few of these in a sitting. Worth a shot.
