Amber colored with a tightly carbonated off-white cap on top. Head fades to a collar that leaves a fair amount of lace. Nose is very clean. I think I smell some malt, but it could just be my imagination. The taste offers slightly grassy and bitter hops up front. They vanish behind malt sweetness with caramel notes. Light esters and a faint stale character in the background. The staleness keeps the taste from rising above average. Could be dirty beer lines. Light bodied with a tight carbonation that gives the beer a creamy feel. An average beer, overall.

I only ordered the sampler size portion of this one after first trying the IPA (see the review on that one).

I asked the bartender what they sell the most of, and this was his answer.

I was underwhelmed by all 3 of the beers I tried here. It was alright, but no real smells to speak of. Taste was bland. It looked good except for the lack of bubbles. They need to examine their brewing process because something is wrong over there. Off flavors. Bad beer. But this was the most tolerable of their offerings.

Hope I'm not being too harsh.

Served in a standard pint glass. The beer was a gold with red hues. Smallish off-white head and nice lacing.

The nose was of plums and raisins. A bit of wet grain in the background.

The taste was slightly sweet with nonexistent bitterness. There was an apple/raisin taste with some added cereal. Think of a Killians with more body and flavor. Inoffensive, but a bit dull. My non BA co-worker did like it, so it is a crossover type beer.
