Sampled 10/5/2010. Not sure exactly what this is supposed to be, nor am I sure that this is different than the Route 56 Light Ale advertised on the website currently (11/7/2010) but this is how it was written on the menu.
Pours murky pink/red, white head, decent lace and retention.
Aroma is just plain carmelized sugar.
Flavor is more carmelized sugar. It almost hurts the teeth to drink this. Some strange chalky quality too.
Body is medium/heavy, and too sweet to drink much of. Not vommit inducingly bad though.
Tick.
