We took a growler of this home from a recent visit. Pours a very dark brown in color with slight ruby highlights. Light malty aroma. Flavors of toasted grain with hints of caramel and toffee interlaced. As the beer warms some chocolate (almost like a dark bread) can be detected. Finish is smooth with very little hop bitterness. Four Dogs is not my favorite offering from Mickey Finn's. It's not bad, just nothing spectacular.
