8/22....pours a very dark brown, with foam that settles out completely. Sweet nose, rum, raisins, dark fruit. Light caramel flavor, slightly nutty. A little sticky. So so.

Dark coloring but, not a heavy taste. Really enjoyed it!

Served in a weizen glass at the brewpub.
Damn, haven't seen this guy in a long time... It pours a hazy sunset brown-amber topped by over a finger of light-ish tan foam. The nose comprises wheat, toffee, clove, black pepper, light grass, and a few flowers tossed in for good measure. The taste holds notes of dark wheat, clove, light banana, toffee, light orange zest, and a touch of cocoa near the finish that lingers longer than the other flavors. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a slightly grainy feel. Overall, a somewhat surprisingly solid d-weizen, something I could see drinking fairly often if given the chance. Nice stuff.

Murky dark brown with a speckled off white head, nose is a balance of banana, clove, and chocolate. Quintesential for the style. Flavor a slight let down, but all the notes are there, and it finishes perfectly, balanced and dry. Round full mouth feel, drinks well, a nice example of this style, well done, seek this out if you make it here.

Presentation: Served in a weizen style glass, with a huge tulip-like top.
Appearance: 1 1/2 inch head, settles slowly leaving lacing and a 1.4 inch coating. Beer is cloudy and dark brown with a slight copper tint.
Smell: Slightly sweet with wheat twang. Metallic undertones with hints of dark fruit, raisins and figs.
Taste: Slight wheat twang upfront and in the finish. Sweet with dark sugar and fruit flavors. Very, very, slight hop bitterness.
Mouthfeel: Average to higher than average level of carbonation; good level for a wheat beer. Good body.
Drinkability: A nice refreshing drink, good example of the style.
