Dark, sweet, roasty, lightly chocolatey and finishing well. Pretty much sums it up.
Poured well from the nitro tap I was very pleased with this stout.
Colors of tan swelling up inside a dark brown brew with a medium tan head.
Smells of roasted barley and nuts.
Tastes of roasted sweetness like a roasted chocolate covered banana followed by hint of nuttiness.
Smoothness is unlike other stouts and heavier than oatmeals, making it easy to drink and re-order.
Wish it was on the menu more since it is not regularly present.

Nitro tap at the brewery on 6/13/08. Beautiful dark color with ample mocha head, unbelievably smooth.
Smells sweet and chocolatey, very appetizing.
Quite tasty too, sweet and chocolatey up front with just a touch of roasty astringency to cut the sweetness.
Mouthfeel is medium-bodied and incredibly smooth. Not heavy at all, I could drink this all night long. Even my wife couldn't quit stealing sips, and she's not a big fan of the dark beers.
