Served in a mug at the brewpub.
Finishing a long day with a pint o' pils at the Finn's. It pours a clear pale straw topped by a finger of lightly cream-white foam. The nose comprises grass, light lemon peel, and light wheat. The taste brings in more of the same, with a touch (just a light touch) more lemon peel. The body is a hefty-leaning light, with a light moderate carbonation and a crisp finish. Overall, a nice little Czech pils, an easy-drinking option for the busy and consequently tired professional on the go. (Hey, MF, need any marketing folk...?)

This beer pours a pale straw color with a frothy foam top on it. The aroma screams pilsner malt to me all day long. There is that almost sour pepper-like bread nose to the beer and a touch of lemon rind that goes along with the pilsner nose. This has that distinct funky acidic yet smooth taste that I would expect from a Czech Pilsener. There is a nice mineral like taste with this beer which means to me that the water specs were dead on when they made this beer as well. It's a pretty good example of the style, but as the style is not one of my favorites this can easily be draining on the palate with the mild astringency that this beer contains. This beer is fairly easy to consume, and with the ABV as it is it makes it quite sessionable for us non-Brits.
