Served in a mug at the brewpub.
March is here, which means Marzen Madness makes its annual return. It pours a mostly clear sunrise amber topped by a finger of off-white foam. The nose comprises light grass, flowers, dry wheat, and a hint of dried caramel. The taste holds notes of sweet toffee, light caramel, sweet biscuit, and light grass. Though the grass is light, it's fairly expressive and pervasive. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a sorta/kinda drying finish. Overall, a fairly solid little marzen, nothing special, but something that's easy to enjoy while taking in the glory of the Tournament.

I was excited to get this beer again which is released every March for the tournament. This beer was served a slightly hazy orange body with a white foam resting on top. The aroma was fairly non-existent. The only notes were a slight breadiness on the nose. The flavor was pretty tasty, nothing too impressive. The flavor were a touch biscuity and bready with a nice sweet finish on the back end. No bitterness to speak of. The mouthfeel was a nice medium which fit the style perfectly. This just goes down like liquid gold. There is something about this beer than makes it so very easy to drink. I could easily get sloshed on it by continuously asking for more. One of my favorites that they serve.
