Served in a shaker pint glass at the brewpub.
Fear it. This stuff pours a partly cloudy amber-russet topped by a finger or so of cream-white foam. The nose comprises soft pine needles, lightly nutty toffee, caramel, sharp ruby red grapefruit, and a touch of mandarin orange. The taste brings in more of the same, with the grapefruit and the caramel duking it out on the tongue, both really yearning for dominance, but neither achieving it. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a slightly creamy feel. Overall, a nice bit o' red, but not something I'd necessarily look forward to returning to.
